3D is starting to be everywhere 3D TV’s and 3D videos games. Now I’m bringing 3D to the internet.so you can watch cool 3D videos for free instead of buying an expensive 3D TV. I have been making 3D videos for 2 years. I made my first 3D video on February 10th 2009.that was the first 3D video I uploaded to YouTube. Before that I made other 3D videos that never turned out. They don’t look 3D at all a few times I gave up but soon I just kept trying till I made that video, and I was like wow this looks crazily 3D. My first 3d video isn’t on YouTube because I deleted it because for today’s standers it doesn’t look 3d at all. When I started out I never even had 3d glasses I used red and blue flashlight covers. Until later I got some free red and blue glasses from a dvd movie. After years of experimenting with my 3D videos are getting more and more real until whoops I poked you in the eye. Lately I’ve been experimenting with 3D sound better than surround sound so that will give more realism to my videos.

How to make 3D videos easy 

I am about to tell you the most easy way to make 3d videos. The first thing you need is a YouTube account because YouTube can make a video in 3d for you. Another thing you need is 2 cameras. You want the cameras to be identical but if there not that’s alright. Now you take the 2 cameras put those 2 inches apart or 3 inches for outdoor shots. You can set the cameras on a table just to try it out but after experimenting. You should make a mount out of wood. It’s really easy for some cameras to make a mount. Basically take a 8 inch by 8 inch 1 inch thick board or whatever your cameras can fit on. Get a drill put on a 1/4 inch drill bit drill two holes 2 inches apart. You may have to go more than two inches depending on your cameras. Take 2 1/4 inch bolts and mount your 2 cameras make sure that the bolts have the same thread as your cameras. After recording your video record those on your computer label your left video with left and your right with right. Open your 2 videos on your edit program put them side by side left on the right video on left then export your video. Now go to YouTube uploaded it once uploaded edit your video tags. Put in the tags this tag yt3d: enable=true now your video will have a 3d icon were you can choose how to view.so put on your 3d glasses and enjoy.

3D Cameras

3d has become popular.in the movie theaters and the new 3d TVs. Now there are 3d camcorders for everyone to buy. Like the Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3d camera. This camera films in 3d but there are bad parts to it. how 3d made by using 2 cameras side by side then merging the images to make it 3d but with the Panasonic camera its a little different. there is one camera with a screw on leans that separates one image into to two images about 2 inches apart.so that means that the leans cuts the resolution in half.so you could not just screw this leans on any old camera and be 3d.it will be 3d but low resolution. A other thing is there is no auto adjust for the separation.it is a fixed separation 2 inches apart sometimes for longer shots you need 5 inches or more. Naturally your eyes go cross eyed for close up and separate more for far away.so this 3d camera is not the best for 3d but it will work, one more thing there is no zoom in 3d mode. Some people say it is really bulky but I say compared to my 3d camera it looks like a dime.

3D is becoming more popular in theaters TVs and on YouTube from my experience. But is it here to stay for years to come? well 3d has been around since 1950s.so it has come and then it went away.in the 1970s it came back for a few years but then it went away.3d has come and gone several times but is it going to go away in a few years? 3d is difficult to but if achieved correctly 3d is amazing. I myself have made many mistakes but I found out 3d is very hard to edit and sink the two video together and when you record the video if you don’t separate the video enough or too much then all then video is ruined. But now innovation of technology the 3d cameras now are much smaller. Before like in the 1950s or 1970s 3d cameras were the size of a refrigerator.so I think it would have been hard then make good quality movies with a camera like that. Hats why I think 3d has come and gone and also they weren’t in high definition that makes a difference. Now James Cameron made a 3d camera for his hit avatar movie. He made a camera the automatically adjust the separation.so 3d I think is here to stay.

I am about to tell you how to make a 3D video yourself. Making a 3D video is not easy unless you go to 3Dtv.com and convert your 2D video to 3D. The first thing you need to make a 3D video is 2 cameras. Many of you probably don't have 2 of the same camera. The reason you need 2 of the same camera is that they will have the same foalcal length and same color setting. Trust me it makes it a lot more easy to edit the 3D. If you don't have 2 identical cameras then just use what you have.I used 2 deferent cameras before it will work but it will just take some time.

Once you got your 2 video cameras whether it would be 2 cell phones, 2 photo cameras set to video mode or 2 HD cameras. Take your 2 cameras set them on a table. Next slide the cameras as close as you can to each other. Finally turn on the cameras. Hit the recorded buttons at the same time. Now do what ever you want in ad hit stop record.  Congratulations you made your first 3d video.

Import your left and right video files to your computer. Then put the video files in magix movie edit pro plus Then go to effects menu click stereo 3D pair (left image first) or (right image first what ever way you have it configured. Once you have your 3d video a lined then export it as mp4 and choose the 3D mode side by side. Now you are ready to upload it to 3dtv.com you youtube.
